SCOTT IS LOSING

DON’T TELL ME THAT BOY ISN’T A LOVEABLE MONSTER

(you could vote for the show while you’re at it too – You know we can beat the walking dead, and I’ve never even heard of that circle show?)

A list of poetry I associate with Teen Wolf Characters

I just sent this off as a prompt to someone, but here have it with some additions and links:

I need to think about Scott’s mum and Stiles’s dad.

Did I forget anyone else?

The trick to finding ideas is to convince yourself that everyone and everything has a story to tell. I say ‘trick’ but what I really mean is ‘challenge’, because it’s a very hard thing to do. Our instinct as humans, after all, is to assume that most things are not interesting. […] But if you want to be a writer, you have to fight that instinct every day. Shampoo doesn’t seem interesting? Well, dammit, it must be, and if it isn’t, I have to believe that it will ultimately lead me to something that is.

Malcolm Gladwell, ‘What the Dog Saw: And Other Adventures’

This was quoted in the middle of my HCI lecture, and thank you Teen Wolf fandom, my first thought was of you. And Sterek. And rocks, and cereal, and freaking ALPHA YAMS what have you done to my life (I love you all)

My second thought was drive-by headcanon that Stiles is kind of fascinated by shampoo in general because his hair just gets soaped up like the rest of him (and by Lydia’s Derek’s his friends shampoo in particular)

(Fandom/porn in my learning is great — I still remember all the failure modes of springs, even though it was nearly a decade ago, because having buckling, bottoming and binding come up in your lecture is pretty damn memorable)
